How often do you have new cookie flavors?

We do 5 big launches per year -- Valentines, Spring, Summer, Fall, & Christmas. We also offer a Cookie of the Month at the start of each month. Every cookie in these launches are limited edition flavors, so stock up while you can!

Do I have to make the whole bag?

Yes, you will need to make the whole bag as each bag is weighed out per each ingredient. However, you can freeze the remaining dough if you don’t want to cook all the cookies. Frozen dough can last up to 3 months in the freezer. 

Why are my cookies flat?

This could be a combination of a few things, but the two major ones are not refrigerating your cookies after mixing and overmixing. We suggest to refrigerate your dough for at least 30 minutes after dropping on the pan to help them be more thick/fluffy!

Do I use salted or unsalted butter?

Both can be used. There is no difference in the baking. If you don’t like salt, I would use unsalted. If you like salt in your cookies, use the salted butter.

Do I melt my butter?

No, just soften your butter.

How many cookies does one pack make?

It depends on how big or small you make the dough! The personal bag can make 4-6 cookies, while the regular can make 12-15 cookies. 

Can I use margarine instead of butter?

Yes, you can. However, margarine is half oil, so keep in mind that your cookies may come out flatter in the oven. It is also better to refrigerate the cookies for 30 minutes if you do use margarine before cooking them.

I have dye in my bag, do I have to use it?

No, the dye in the bag is optional.
